Emma Watson Teams Up With Meryl Streep For Little Woman

Emma Watson and Meryl Streep are known for saying their heart out especially when it comes to women's rights. the two strong ladies are all set to join hands for a film which is based on the successful novel Little Women. The novel is world’s most famous female-oriented classic and was written by American author Louisa May Alcott.

The project will be helmed by Greta Gerwig who is a critically acclaimed filmmaker. The novel was authored in 1868 which follows the lives of the four March sistersMeg, Jo, Beth and Amy. The novel showcases their passage from childhood to womanhood.

it is also believed that the novel is also based on Alcott and her three sisters. Coming back to the film, a magnum opus version of the film hit the silver screen in 1994. The film starred Winona Ryder, Kirsten Dunst, Claire Danes, and Christian Bale. The novel was originally published in two volumes in 1868 and 1869.
