Eric Bana is in talks to play Uther Pendragon in ‘Knights of the Round Table’

Warner Bros. Pictures and director Guy Ritchie is in talks with Eric Bana to play Uther Pendragon, the father of Charlie Hunnam’s once and future king, in the ‘Knights of the Round Table.’ King Arthur was written by Joby Harold, who is producing with Akiva Goldsman, Tory Tunnell and Ritchie himself.

‘Pacific Rim’ star Charlie Hunnam is playing the title role of King Arthur, Astrid Berges-Frisbey is set to play Guinevere, Djimon Hounsou is playing King Arthur’s mentor, and Jude Law is also in talks to play the villain in the film. Adams and Niija Kuykendall are overseeing for Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow. ‘Knights of the Round Table’ will hit cinemas on July 22, 2016.
