    'Fast and Furious 7' movie gets a title - ‘Furious 7’

    Furious 7 will be the official name for the latest installment in Universal’s hugely popular The Fast and The Furious street-racing feature franchise. Furious 7 will get a live trailer-launch event on November 1 on Facebook commensurate with its fan base, which numbers more than 51.5 million fans there. The event set for noon PT on November 1 will live stream simultaneously from Universal Studios in Los Angeles on the Fast and Furious Facebook page, and on the E! cable channel.

    The action-thriller sequel witnesses the return of cast leads Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Paul Walker, as well as other Fast & Furious favorites such as Michelle Rodriguez, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, and Tyrese Gibson. Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey, and Kurt Russell will all make their first appearance in the franchise in the James Wan-directed feature. Furious 7 will hit theaters April 3, 2015 after being pushed back a year due to Paul Walker's untimely death.
