    Here is a good news for the fans of veteran singer-musician-dancer James Brown, a biopic on him is finally happening. The feature was standing in queue from a long time and now it is being reported that the two big production houses; Universal and Imagine Entertainment have given a green signal for its making.

    The movie will show the rise of James from extreme poverty to becoming a world famous musician. The star dominated the era of 60’s and 70’s with his musical skills. The Grammy Award winner died at the age of 73 due to illness. Brown was also honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at BET Awards (2003) by another legendary performer Michael Jackson.

    The reports say that actor Chadwick Boseman will be seen playing the role of Brown on screen under the direction of Tate Taylor. It has also been said that Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, and Nelsan Ellis have been roped in for supporting roles. “Every frame will be shot in Mississippi. We’re even doing Paris, France, in Mississippi. ... Vietnam, as well, in Mississippi,” said Taylor.
