Florian Munteanu Roped In For Creed 2

Romanian boxer Florian Munteanu is making his Hollywood debut with the movie Creed 2. The film also stars Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone and Tessa Thompson. Tessa will reprise her role of Bianca in the sequel.

Florian will play the role of play Ivan Drago’s son. Drago, played by Dolph Lundgren in ‘ Rocky IV’, is the character that killed Apollo Creed, Jordan’s father, in a boxing match. Lundgren will reprise his role in the sequel also.

The movie will go on floors in spring 2018. Steven Caple Jr. will be at the helm of affairs for the flick. Irwin Winkler, Charles Winkler, William Chartoff, David Winkler and Kevin King-Templeton will jointly produce the flick, while Jordan and Guy Riedel will executive produce it. Stallone and Cheo Hodari Coker will pen the script for the movie. The film is expected to release on November 21, 2018. Creed was directed by Ryan Coogler and released in 2015.
