    Universal's Furious 7 has bagged over $1 billion as anticipated in the worldwide box office, according to the reports. The James Wan directed thriller currently has made $273.7 million in North America in only 15 days and $735.2 million overseas in 17 days.

    Furious 7 is now the fastest film to collect $1 billion mark ever topping ‘The Avengers,’ ‘Avatar’ and ‘Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows: Part 2’ which accomplished it in 19 days.  Overall, the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise has now grossed a combined $3.392 billion. It's now the 20th movie added to the list of billion-dollar-grossing films, topped by ‘Avatar’ ($2.79 billion) and ‘Titanic’ ($2.19 billion).
