Gal Gadot Believes Wonder Woman Was Similar To Princess Diana

Hollywood star Gal Gadot believes that her role of Wonder Woman in the 2017 film had many similarities with Princess Diana. The 32-year-old said that Wonder Woman was compassionate and her approach towards life was alike the Princess of Wales. She further said that her character’s approach made it easy for many people to relate with the superhero.

"I remember a quote from Princess Diana where she hit the nail on the head. She said she worked from the heart and not the head and I think that Wonder Woman, Diana Prince, is the same. I know one Diana was real and the other isn't, but Wonder Woman is such a great character because she works from the heart," Gadot said.

Gadot also believes that Wonder Woman is a great role model for females. "We are so exposed all our lives to amazing male superheroes and never to one really good female superhero and I think Wonder Woman really captures the beauty of what it means to be a woman,” said the Justice League actress. Helmed by Patty Jenkins , Wonder Woman grossed $821.8 million worldwide.
