    HBO has released a first look image for the sixth season of Game of Thrones. The image shows Bran Stark, son of Ned Stark, all grown up. The character was last seen in the fourth season of the show and did not appear in the fifth season.

    The role of Bran Stark is played by Isaac Hempstead-Wright. Season 4 of the series ended with Bran Stark meeting the Three-Eyed Raven. The old man told Bran, “You will never walk again, Bran... but you will fly”, and that is where Bran was left. Since his absence in season 5, his character’s return us quite anticipated.

    Game of Thrones season six will be aired in April next year. The show will bring back Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Aidan Gillen, Natalie Dormer, Carice van Houten, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, John Bradley, Hannah Murray and Gwendoline Christie. It was previously confirmed that the series will get at least 2 more seasons after the sixth.
