Mandy liked her new self so much that she never went back to being blond. She explained that her new look helped change the way people saw her. “There was a real significance to coloring my hair. As silly as it sounds, there was a real significance in the way that people saw me, but also in the way that I carried myself and that I saw myself”, the 32-yeaer-old added. Her co-star Shane also spoke about her decision and said that it’s quite amazing how it changed her life.

Mandy started out as a pop singer with albums like ‘So Real’ (1999) and ‘Coverage’ (2003) and then transitioned into movies. Her first full fledged role was in the 2001 film ‘The Princess Diaries’. Over the years, the actress has been part of around 20 films and was last seen in the 2012 film ‘Hotel Noir’.
