Goldie Hawn Was Asked Numerous Questions About Her Acting Ability

Veteran actress Goldie Hawn last made an appearance on the big screen in 2002 in the film ‘The Banger Sisters’. It’s been 15 years now and the actress will be making her comeback with ‘Snatched’ where she shares screen space with Amy Schumer. Goldie recently revealed that before she was roped in for the role, director Jonathan Levine asked her numerous questions about her acting ability.

Jonathan stated that all his concerns were natural. He was asking questions everybody needed answers to. “There were natural questions that I think we all had, and I was asking them to the point that I think I was embarrassing Amy. Just, like, 'Why haven't you worked in so long? What do you think the challenges of going back to work will be? Do you think you'll be able to learn lines?”, the director stated.

The 71-year-old actress, despite of the questions, was quite pleased to get the role. She said that knowing what happens to a woman in this industry after a certain age, she is glad and grateful for the opportunity. In the film, Goldie will play the role of Amy’s mother, Linda Middleton.
