Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin Finalize Divorce

According to recent reports, actress Gwyneth Paltrow and musician Chris Martin have finally reached a divorce settlement. In April 2015, the 43-year-old actress filed for divorce from the Coldplay co-founder, reporting irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the split. Since the actress first broke the news on her lifestyle website Goop, the two have seemingly maintained an amicable relationship, keeping the needs of their children at the top.

The Iron Man actress stated, “It’s like we are still a family, but not a couple. I think we are better as friends than we were [married]. We are very close and supportive of one another”. Ending their 12-year old marriage, the celebrity couple have given up their rights to spousal support. The two have a daughter Apple, 12, and a son Moses, 10, and share joint custody of their children.

Martin dated Jennifer Lawrence on and off in 2015 and was also linked to actress Annabelle Wallis last August. One of Lawrence sources claimed that she was tired of her ex-husband being so non-committal. The actress has been happily dating American television writer Brad Falchuk since August 2014.
