Gwyneth Paltrow Wanted To Turn Her Divorce Into A Positive

After being married for over 11 years, actress Gwyneth Paltrow and musician Chris Martin shocked everyone by announcing their separation. They were officially divorced in 2016. While separation and divorces are always painful, seems like Paltrow is one strong woman and knows how to handle it.

At a recent interview, the actress opened up on her divorce and how she is dealing with it. She said, "I wanted to turn my divorce into a positive. What if I didn't blame the other person for anything, and held myself 100 per cent accountable? 'What if I checked my own s*** at the door and put my children first? And reminded myself about the things about my ex-husband that I love, and fostered the friendship?".

She further added, "What I put myself through to get there was the most difficult thing I've ever done in my life". The couple also grabbed eye balls when they coined the term 'consciously uncoupling', about which she said, "People are coming around. I know it's a dorky term, but it's very worthwhile".
