‘I’m Going To Bring Him Back’: Vin Diesel On Fast and Furious Franchise Director Justin Lin

Vin Diesel a.k.a Dominic Toretto has recently expressed his desire to bring back franchise director Justin Lin to direct the final film in the series. Justin has helmed parts 3,4,5 and 6 of the franchise that started with Rob Cohen’s 2001 film ‘The Fast and the Furious’. Justin’s work will also be seen in ‘Star Trek Beyond’ which will hit the screens on July 22.

Talking about bringing back the director, Vin stated, “I’m going to bring him back. Whenever we had a day off-even on Thanksgiving, his favourite holiday-it was Justin and me working on how far we could take it. Success comes from 10 years of that mentality”.

The eighth part in the series, ‘Fast 8’, will bring back Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Elsa Pataky, Lucas Black and Kurt Russell. Charlize Theron will be playing the main antagonist in the film which is being directed by F Gary Gray. The movie will be released on April 14 next year.
