Independence Day: Resurgence Trailer Revealed

‘We always knew they were coming back’ – Since the 1996 blockbuster Independence Day, the people of Earth were certain that the aliens would return, but on this scale, certainly not expected. 20^th Century Fox has released the first trailer for the sequel to the 1996 film Independence Day: Resurgence. The movie will be released on 24 June next year.

The trailer shows a glimpse of the events to come, the sheer scale is mind blowing. After the aliens first landed, the humans used their advanced technology and now plan to defend against the invasion. Independence Day: Resurgence will be directed by Roland Emmerich.

The cast for the film includes Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe and Sela Ward. The script has been penned by Emmerich, Dean Devlin, James Vanderbilt, James A.Woods and Nicolas Wright. The 1996 film grossed $817 million worldwide.
