    Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal, who is known to have starred in movies such as Donnie Darko, Southpaw and Brokeback Mountain. Recently, the actor exhibited that he has witnessed a great change in Hollywood since the Harvey Weinstein scandal. He also said that the victims of sexual abuse have changed the Hollywood scenario for the greater good by speaking up about their sufferings.



    He was quoted as saying, “I'm a hopeful person, but as Morgan Freeman's character says in 'Shawshank Redemption', 'Hope can be a dangerous thing.' But I do think there is a huge shift”. Harvey Weinstein, who is one of the most powerful producers of Hollywood, has been accused of sexually assaulting many women over a period of 30 years. There are many other celebrities who have been accused of sexual abuse.



    Some of them include Oscar-winning screenwriter James Toback, who has been accused by 400 women of sexual misconduct. Another big celebrity is Dustin Hoffman, who has been allegedly accused by Anna Graham Hunter of sexual harassment on the sets of 'Death of a Salesman'.
