James Franco Might Feature In Shel Silverstein Biopic

It seems actor James Franco will be seen in the upcoming biopic film of Shel Silverstein, who has been an author, cartoonist, and lyricist. The actor is said to be in negotiations to star and also direct the film. Moreover, the flick will be focussing on the personal and professional struggles that Silverstein has gone through, which has made him a unique voice.

The author had penned many children's book and had also won two Grammy Awards for his work as a lyricist. Shel Silverstein had died in the year 1999. Franco will be playing the part of an executive producer for the film. Others like Vince Jolivette and Adrian Alperovich will also join in to bankroll the project.

Moreover, it has been heard that Shafer and Paul Vicknair will be writing the script for the film. The film will be an adaptation of the book 'A Boy Named Shel' written by Lisa Rogak.
