James Gunn Says Sylvester Stallone Has A Very Important Role In Guardians Of The Galaxy 2

Ever since the release of 'Guardians of the Galaxy', back in 2014, fans have been eagerly waiting for the sequel. One of the reasons for this anticipation was the introduction of Chris Pratt a.k.a Star Lord’s father. Recently, footage from the upcoming film was shown at San Diego Comic Con which had quite a surprise for the fans. Sylvester Stallone was seen in the footage for just a second.

Now, director James Gunn has revealed that though the Rocky actor has a short role in the film, it is of great importance. “It's a very, very key, important role. It's not a huge role. He's a great and key supporting actor”.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2’ will bring back the dynamic group with Zoe Saldana reprising her role as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot and Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Raccoon, along with Chris as Peter Quill. Kurt Russell will be playing the role of Star Lord’s father. The movie will be released on May 5 next year.
