Jason Bourne Trailer Releasing On Thursday

Universal Pictures has released two short clips teasing the upcoming trailer for ‘Jason Bourne’ which will be revealed on Thursday. The clips, for the film which will be released on July 29, show glimpses of Matt Damon in action. He will reprise his role as Jason Bourne in the Paul Greengrass directorial.

Matt previously provided some insight on the plot of the film and revealed that Jason will be resurfacing after 12 years. The actor shared, “You’ll find the character — like “The Bourne Ultimatum,” the third act actually in the movie dovetails with the third act of “The Bourne Supremacy.” So technically when the Bourne character disappears, it’s still 2004. So when this next one comes out in ’16, it will have been 12 years — in movie years — that the character as been off the grid. So what’s happened in those intervening years gives you a story”.

Paul Greengrass has directed two films in the franchise, ‘The Bourne Supremacy’ and ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’. 'Jason Bourne', the next instalment, will bring back Julia Stiles and Matt, with the new additions including Vincent Cassel, Tommy Lee Jones and Alicia Vikander. The movie is produced by Jeffrey Weiner, Frank Marshall, Frank Marshall, Ben Smith, Paul and Matt.
