Jeffrey Nachmanoff Signs As Director For Jackie Chan’s Five Against A Bullet

Jeffrey Nachmanoff Signs As Director For Jackie Chan’s Five Against A Bullet

Adding further boost to Jackie Chan starrer Five Against a Bullet, reputed director Jeffrey Nachmanoff has agreed to helm the project. This Sony’s action-thriller is being produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, who’d be releasing the flick under their Di Bonventura Pictures for Sony along with Suretone Pictures, Jordan Schur through Mimran Schur Pictures and Chan through his Sparkle Roll production company. Talking about Jeffrey, the man has delivered previous hits in Don Cheadle’s Traitor and Keanu Reeves’ Replicas.

Interestingly, Joe Carnahan came on to the project in 2014, in order to direct and re-write Alex Litvak’s script. It is set in a small Mexican town, which is attacked by the drug cartel. In the story, five hunky bodyguards are signed to safeguard a Mexican politician after his father is killed by a cartel.

Earlier, Five Against A Bullet team approached Bruce Willis, but he is no more part of the project now. About Carnahan, he is associated as only writer for this project. Chan’s latest flick, Kung Fu Yoga minted over $267 million, internationally and we hope his latest, breaks its record.
