Jennifer Lawrence signed American Hustle for Christian Bale

Academy award achiever Jennifer Lawrence was last seen in American Hustle where she essayed the role of Rosalyn Rosenfeld. The actress was not supposed to take on this project but the reason why she found herself unable to refuse the flick was Christian Bale. Well, the actress has now revealed that she gave her nod to the project once it came to her knowledge that she will be cast opposite Christian.

Universal Pictures India reported the 23-year-old saying that she had to play a manic-depressive alcoholic’s character, for which she couldn’t wait. She had discussions with Bale on the same. The 23-year-old was believed to go on a break after her last ventures but later she signed in with filmmaker David O. Russell to portray Christian Bale’s wife in the movie. Lawrence has her dates scheduled for upcoming ventures Serena, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Dumb and Dumber To, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.
