J.K. Simmons First Look As Commissioner Gordon

Academy Award winning actor J.K. Simmons will be playing the role of Commissioner Gordon in the upcoming ‘Justice League’. On the occasion of Batman day, director Zack Snyder has released a first look image showing the actor in uniform. He is seen standing besides the bat signal in a black and white shot.

Previously, the actor spoke about his part in the film and revealed that it was completed. “My part is done. They are filming that for basically most of 2016, so some of the superheroes are still at work in jolly old London, but I’m back home with my family…. (My scenes were) mostly with Ben. In this first installment of the Justice League, Commissioner Gordon is not a particularly sizable part. We just kind of introduce him and see a little bit of his interactions with Batman — and with most of the Justice League”, Simmons shared.

‘Justice League’ will have Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot reprising their role as the DC Trinity, Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. As teased in Batman v Superman, ‘Justice League’ will also have Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Ezra Miller as The Flash. The movie will be released on November 10 next year.
