    John Cena In Talks To Feature In ‘Duke Nukem’ Movie

    John Cena is in negotiations to star in the Paramount’s ‘Duke Nukem’ movie, which is the big-screen version of the long-running video game franchise. No director or writer has been approached yet for the movie. The film is set up at Paramount-based Platinum Dunes, which is operated by Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller.



    Duke Nukem first appeared in the 1991 eponymous video game, which was developed by Apogee Software. He was seen as a muscular cigar-chomping man who always wore Ray-Bans and a flat-top haircut while fighting aliens to save planet Earth by using enormous physical strength and his expertise in firearms. Duke Nukem has appeared in 19 video games as the titular character. He recently appeared in Duke Nukem 3D: World Tour.



    Platinum Dunes has produced John Krasinski’s horror movie ‘A Quiet Place’ which will release on April 6. John Cena has appeared in movies like ‘12 Rounds’, ‘Legendary’, ‘The Reunion’, ‘Trainwreck,’ ‘Sisters’, ‘Daddy’s Home’, ‘Daddy’s Home 2’ and ‘The Wall’. He also has Transformers prequel ‘Bumblebee: The Movie’ in his kitty.
