Johnny Depp Interested In Triple Frontier

Triple Frontier is an upcoming film that will focus on the organised crime in the border zone between Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil. Pirates of the Caribbean franchise actor Johnny Depp has shown interest in the film which will be directed by J.C. Chandor. The actor initially liked the script when Zero Dark Thirty director Kathryn Bigelow was part of the project.

The script for Triple Frontier has been penned by Mark Boal. Atlas Entertainment’s Charles Roven and Alex Gartner will be producing the project. Johnny Depp was recently seen in the crime thriller Black Mass where he played the role of mobster Whitey Bulger. He is nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award.

The shooting for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales was recently completed. Depp will also be part of Kevin Smith’s Yoga Hosers and Alice Through the Looking Glass, this year. Whether or not the actor will end up as part of the cast for Triple Frontier is still uncertain.
