Joker Origin Movie To Go On Floors Soon

Warner Bros. and DC announced of making a film on Joker last in August, however the movie did not progress. But, now the studios have said that they will start working on the film soon as the script is complete. It is being reported that the movie will go on floors in 2018.

The Hangover's Todd Phillips will serve both as the director as well as the writer for the flick. He will co-write the story along with Scott Silver. Apart from directing and writing, Todd will also produce the movie.

The original Joker movie starred Jared Leto, who played the green-haired villain in last year's 'Suicide Squad'. Warner Bros. reportedly wants Leonardo DiCaprio to star in the film and play The Joker. Warner Bros is also trying to bring Martin Scorsese on board top produce the upcoming in an effort to bring DiCaprio. The duo have worked together in 'The Aviator', 'Gangs of New York ', 'The Departed', 'Shutter Island' and 'The Wolf of Wall Street'.
