Kerry Washington, Stephen Colbert and Hugh Jackman will host Global Citizen Festival in New York's Central Park starring Beyonce and Pearl Jam. Organizers announced Thursday that Salma Hayek Pinault, Olivia Wilde and Jackman's wife, actress Deborra-Lee Furness, will also co-host the Sept. 26 event.

"It's a huge concert for a great cause, ending poverty by 2030. And 2015 is a crucial year for ending poverty everywhere because this September, world leaders are gathering at the UN to announce their global goals for the next 15 years," Colbert said in a video announcement, before jokingly adding, "If everything goes according to plan, in 15 years, the nation of Greece will still exist."

Washington added, "I am very excited to be a part of the Global Citizen Festival and to join in this movement calling for an end to extreme poverty so that our future generations can live in a more just and equal world."

The festival will simulcast live from Central Park by media partner MSNBC from 4-10 p.m. both on the television network and on MSNBC.com.  "I am honored and thrilled to join Global Citizen in urging world leaders to commit to ending extreme poverty. Finally, all that U.N. traffic will have a purpose!" Colbert said in a statement. Ed Sheeran and Coldplay will also perform at the concert on the Great Lawn. Ken Ehrlich, who has produced telecasts for the Grammy Awards and Emmy Awards for over three decades, is producing the live event. Global Citizen's official YouTube channel will also show a livestream of the concert for those who cannot attend.
