‘Lady Bird’ Named As ‘Best Film’ by New York Film Critics Circle

Recently released Hollywood movie ‘Lady Bird’ has been received well by both the audience as well as the critics. The movie revolves around the story of a nurse, who works round the clock, after her husband gets unemployed. The nurse also tries to maintain a turbulent relationship with her teenage daughter.

The movie has been named as the ‘Best Film’ by New York Film Critics Circle. The movie is helmed by writer-director Greta Gerwig. Saoirse Ronan, who portrays the lead role in the movie has also been named as the ‘Best Actress’.

‘Ladybird’ was released in November 3. The movie is bankrolled by Scott Rudin, Eli Bush and Evelyn O'Neill. The cinematography of the movie has been done by Sam Levy. The movie also stars Lucas Hedges, Laurie Metcalf and Timothee Chalamet.
