Actors have been getting into the smaller details in order to get into the skin of the characters for their films but what Leonardo DiCaprio has done, comes across as some really gross details. The ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ actor has revealed that he slept in animal carcasses for his upcoming film ‘The Revenant’. He even ate raw bison liver during the shoots, he revealed.

While shooting for the film, DiCaprio says that he was on close possibility of catching hypothermia on a constant basis. The titanic fame says that he was quite excited to be teaming up with Oscar winning filmmaker Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu for the very first time. Hence, he pushed himself to the limits.

“I can name 30 or 40 sequences that were some of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do - whether it’s going in and out of frozen rivers, or sleeping in animal carcasses, or what I ate on set. I was enduring freezing cold and possible hypothermia constantly”, said the 40-year-old actor. The Revenant is scheduled to hit the theatres in December.
