According to recent reports, Australian actor Liam Hemsworth is prepping up to play the lead in the independent action-thriller ‘Killerman’. Expected to go on floors in August, the upcoming movie will be helmed by Malik Bader, who also wielded the megaphone for ‘Cash Only’. The story of the forthcoming visceral action-thriller centres on small-time money launderer Moe Diamond, played by Hemsworth, who suffers from amnesia after a freak accident.

Hemsworth was last seen on screens as a fighter pilot Jake Morrison in Roland Emmerich's 2016 film ‘Independence Day: Resurgence’. The 27-year-old hunk will be seen having vicious gangsters hot on his tail and dirty cops not far behind. ‘Killerman’ will be bankrolled by John and Michael Schwarz along with The Solution's Myles Nestel.

The Solution was founded in 2012 by international sales veteran, Lisa Wilson, and leading film financier, Nestel, who are both partners. Lisa Wilson will serve as the executive producer. The Solution will introduce the project to buyers in Cannes.
