Lucas Hedges, Sterling K Brown To Feature In 'Waves'

Actors Lucas Hedges and Sterling K Brown are in talks to join the lead cast of musical drama 'Waves'. The movie will be written and directed by Trey Edward Shults and the makers are negotiating to cast the two actors. The film is a coming-of-age tale that tells two contrasting teen love stories, focusing on both suburban teenagers and their parents.

The director has done some amazing work before even and is best known for the films like 'Krisha' and 'It Comes By Night'. Moreover, Apart from Hedges, 21, and Brown, 42, actors Kelvin Harrison Jr and Taylor Russell will also be seen in the movie. The film, to be produced by Kevin Turen and Jim Wilson, will get an original score from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.  Moreover, the film is described as a dramatic musical with a fresh spin as well as an energetic, affecting anthem of contemporary teenage life.

On the work front, Brown will be next seen in Shane Black's 'The Predator'. On the other hand, Hedges is awaiting the release of 'Boy Erased'. He most recently appeared in the Oscar-nominated movies “’Lady Bird’ and ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’.
