    Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro Back Together After 20 Years

    The forthcoming flick The Irishman will re-unite legendary actor Robert De Niro and director Martin Scorsese. They have been working together since the early 1970s and will be coming together after 20 years. Their last project together was the 1995 film Casino.

    The duo are known for the movies Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Mean Streets and Taxi Driver. Martin announced the movie at the Lumiere film festival in Lyon and said, “It’s a film called The Irishman -- we’re still working on all the details. Bob and I are trying to work on our schedules and the finance. When asked about how many movie he is planning to make, the director said, “I don’t know, as many as I could make”.

    Scorsese’s magic will be seen in the HBO series Vinyl which will focus on the record industry scene in the 1970’s. For the show, the 72-year-old director will be collaborating with Mick Jagger. He has another project lined up called Silence, a movie about Christian missionaries in the 17th century.
