    Matt Damon Says ‘Good Will Hunting’ Influenced His Career

    Matt Damon and Ben Affleck starrer ‘Good Will Hunting’ was widely lauded by critics when it released in 1997. The duo won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for the film and Robin Williams also won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Damon recently said that he finds the drama film till date the best.  

    The Elysium actor told an online entertainment portal that the flick influenced his career. He said, "'Good Will Hunting' obviously is the most influential movie in my life, and in Ben's life, and bringing it to the screen, kind of dominated our 20s. It took five years to get it from the time we started to the time it came out”.

    He added that he would love to write with Ben Affleck again. The only challenge that both the stars face is time. The Interstellar actor is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Jason Bourne’ which will release on July 29.
