Natalie Portman To Replace Reese Witherspoon In ‘Pale Blue Dot’

Hollywood actress Natalie Portman is known to have starred in movies such as Black Swan, Jackie and V for Vendetta. The actress made her acting debut with the 1994 movie Leon: The Professional. According to a story published on variety.com, the actress is said to be in talks to replace Reese Witherspoon as the main star in ‘Pale Blue Dot’.

If this news is authentic, the actress may portray the character of an astronaut. Fox Searchlight, which are the distributors of the movie are currently in search for a male lead for the upcoming movie. Reese Witherspoon, who was approached first by the makers of the movie, left the project after her schedule clashed with the shooting of season 2 of ‘Big Little Lies’.

 ‘Pale Blue Dot’ will be helmed by Noah Hawley, who has previously helmed movies such as ‘Fargo and ‘Legion’. The movie revolves around a successful astronaut and her life at earth after returning from a space mission.
