New Jungle Book Clip Released

Walt Disney Pictures has released a new clip for the upcoming live action film ‘The Jungle Book’. The clip shows Mowgli saying goodbye to the wolf Raksha, voiced by Lupita Nyong’o. The Jungle Book has been directed by Jon Favreau who is known for his direction in Iron Man 1 and 2.

Like the original story by Rudyard Kipling, Jon’s take on the film will follow a man-cub named Mowgli who is raised by a pack of wolves. The young boy is then forced to leave the pack because of Shere Khan who considers all humans to be a threat. Mowgli sets on an adventurous journey where he encounters several creatures of the jungle, only some of whom are friendly.

The Jungle Book will be released on April 15 and will have characters voiced by Idris Elba, Ben Kingsley, Bill Murray, Scarlett Johansson and Christopher Walken, along with Lupita. The role of Mowgli will be played by Neel Sethi. The movie is produced by Brigham Taylor and Jon himself.
