New Title For Motion Picture And STX Entertainment’s Movie - The Space Between Us

Oren Aviv, President of STX Entertainment’s Motion Picture Group, has announced that their forthcoming film will be titled The Space Between Us. The movie stars Gary Oldman and Asa Butterfield. The film will be directed by Peter Chelsom.

The story will focus on the first human born on Mars, after his astronaut mother dies at child birth. Sixteen years later, the boy who is attracted to a girl living in Chicago through their online relationship, decides to travel to Earth to meet her. He has to risk his life in a race against time and nature to reach planet Earth.

STX Chairman Adam Fogelson, stated, “This is a unique, well-crafted personal story set against an expansive landscape and we are thrilled to be a part of this film and work with this enormously talented cast. The film has a completely authentic voice and the kinds of nuanced characters who are distinctive and truly memorable.
