Oliver Stone made a secret visit to Kolkata

It just came to light that the three times Academy Award winner Oliver Stone made a quiet visit to Kolkata in June. The reports say that Oliver was here to drop his daughter Tara at the Missionaries of Charity for a five-week voluntary service in the Missionaries of Charity, founded by Mother Teresa. The filmmaker arrived in the city on June 19 and stayed there till June 22.

It is being reported that Stone wants his daughter to be aware about the reality of life which is away from the comfort of her home. A still of Stone and Tara with Victoria Memorial in the backdrop is still available on Twitter. Stone has always admired Indian film industry and he is a big fan of veteran filmmaker Satyajit Ray.
