Olivia Munn To Star In 'X-Men: Dark Phoenix'

Filmmaker Bryan Singer’s superhero film ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ released to mixed reviews from critics last year. According to recent report, the next iteration in the X-Men film series will feature Olivia Munn reprising her role from the ninth instalment. The actress played Psylocke, one of the most popular members of the X-Men.

The next part, titled ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’, is expected to be loaded with familiar mutant faces. The flick will star James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Sophie Turner, Evan Peters, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Tye Sheridan. In addition, it is also being said that Jessica Chastain might be brought on board to play the antagonist in the film.

Expected to hit theatres on November 2, 2018, ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ will center on Jean Grey. The movie is going to be just one of three X-Men movies releasing in 2018, alongside ‘Deadpool 2’ and ‘New Mutants’. On a related note, Olivia Munn will also star in 20th Century Fox's ‘Predator’ sequel, which will release next year.
