Open Road Films Releases New Sleepless Clip

A new short clip from the upcoming film ‘Sleepless’ showing Jamie Foxx and Michelle Monaghan has been released by Open Road Films. The crime thriller has been directed by Baran Bo Odar and focuses on undercover Las Vegas police officer Vincent Downs (Foxx) who has to save his teenage son from kidnappers. Monaghan plays Jennifer Bryan, an internal affairs officer.

Downs is caught in a web of corrupt cops and the mob-controlled casino underground which puts him in a tight spot as he has to recover his son and also evade the internal affairs investigation. The cast also includes Gabrielle Union, Scoot McNairy, Dermot Mulroney and rapper T.I. The script has been written by Andrea Berloff.

The Django Unchained actor was last seen in the 2014 film ‘Annie’ which was directed by Will Gluck. This year, he will also be seen in ‘Baby Driver’ which will hit theatres on August 11. On the other hand, Michelle will soon be seen in Peter Berg’s ‘Patriots Day’ alongside Mark Wahlberg. The movie will be released on January 13 which is also the release date for ‘Sleepless’.
