Patrick Stewart’s Professor Xavier Confirmed For Wolverine 3

Patrick Stewart recently took to Twitter and posted “Worst kept secret. #ProfessorX #Wolverine3” confirming his presence in the film. Last year, the actor spoke to Collider and said, “I understand that Professor Xavier will be making more than an appearance, however, and that intrigues me”. Though, Hugh Jackman has been quite secretive about the project, Patrick on the other hand has been more talkative.

‘Wolverine 3’ will be the last time Hugh plays the role of the clawed mutant. It is speculated that the movie will follow the ‘Old Man Logan’ story line as teased by the actor himself at last year’s Comic Con. The movie will be directed by James Mangold and produced by Simon Kinberg.

The filmmakers have also confirmed an R rating for the film. Jackman will also be making an appearance in the upcoming film ‘X-Men: Apocalypse”. Patrick Stewart was recently seen in Jeremy Saulnier’s ‘Green Room’ and the last X-Men movie he did was ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’.
