Paul Feig Tweeted Names for ‘Ghostbusters’ Characters

Director Paul Feig has revealed the names for the four lead characters in the forthcoming ‘Ghostbusters’ reboot in a tweet. He wrote, “Okay, here you go. Erin Gilbert, Jillian Holtzmann, Abby Yates and Patty Tolan. Now you know even more”.

The new Ghostbusters is a reboot of the original 1984 film titled the same. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Harold Ramis starred in the original. This time, the movie will have four female lead characters including Melissa McCarthy, Kristin Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Melissa will be playing Yates, Kristin will be seen as Gilbert, Kate will be portraying Holtzmann and Leslie will play Tolan.

Ghostbusters is written by Katie Dippold and Paul himself. The characters are written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. Along with the four females, Chris Hemsworth and Michael Kenneth Williams will be part of the cast as well. The movie will be released on July 22, 2016 in the U.S.
