Pedro Almodovar Wants To Direct A Deadpool Film If Tarantino Does The Script

Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown director Pedro Almodovar has got several opportunities to direct an English language film but the director has never gone through with it. Now, after the success of ‘Deadpool’, he is keen on making a sequel but he has a condition. Pedro wants Quentin Tarantino to develop the script.

According to Contactmusic, Pedro shared, “I'd love to do that (direct a Deadpool movie), but the script would have to be by Quentin Tarantino, who would be perfect for this movie”. He added, “I'd like to co-direct that script with him. That would be a real possibility, if he wanted to do it”.

‘Deadpool’ was released in February this year and went on to earn almost $800 million worldwide. The Spanish director had got a chance to direct the 2005 film ‘Brokeback Mountain’ starring Jake Gyllenhaal and late Heath Ledger, but he refused. The movie was then directed by Ang Lee, which rewarded Ang with a Best Director Oscar.
