Pheobe Waller-Bridge In Talks For Star Wars Han Solo Spinoff

Fleabag actress Pheobe Waller-Bridge is in talks to play an important role in the upcoming Star Wars Han Solo spinoff. Reports suggest that the role will be CGI driven but, will be a significant part of the plot. If the talks follow through, she will be joining Alden Ehrenreich, playing Han Solo and Donald Glover, playing young Lando Calrissian.

Pheobe plays the lead actor in the British comedy series ‘Fleabag’ which started in July last year. She plays a London based woman who is trying to cope with living in the big city while coming to terms with a tragedy. The show has been nominated for ‘Critics Choice Television Award for Best Comedy Series’, ‘Critics Choice Television Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series’ and ‘NME Award for Best TV Show’.

The cast for the Han Solo spinoff also includes Woody Harrelson and Emilia Clarke. The movie is being directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller and does not have an official title as of yet. It is expected to hit the screens on May 25, 2018.
