Power Rangers Assemble For First Official Photo

The upcoming Power Rangers movie has got its first official image showing off the rangers without their uniforms. The movie is being directed by Dean Israelite and the shooting is currently underway in Vancouver. Power Rangers will bring together five ordinary high school kids who take it upon themselves to save the world.

The image shows Dacre Montgomery, RJ Cyler, Naomi Scott, Becky G and Ludi Lin. Dacre will play the role of the Red Ranger with Cyler as the Blue Ranger. Naomi will be seen as the Pink Ranger, Ludi as the Black Ranger and Becky as the Yellow Ranger. John Gatins, Burk Sharpless, Matt Sazama, Zack Stentz, Ashley Miller and Max Landis have written the script for the film.

Power Rangers will hit the screens on March 24 next year. The movie will be produced by Brian Casentini, Haim Saban, Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey. Elizabeth Banks will be playing the role of the space villainess Rita Repulsa.
