    Quentin Tarantino Talks Retirement Plans

Pulp Fiction director Quentin Tarantino has revealed that he would like to take up writing after retiring from direction. He aims to complete 10 films and then write novels and plays. The directors The Hatful Eight is about to be released soon, marking his fifth directorial venture.

Quentin stated, “What I want to do basically is I want to write novels and I want to write theatre and I want to direct theatre. I actually want to do a theatrical adaptation of Hateful Eight because I actually like the idea of other actors having a chance to play my characters and see what happens from that”. Talking about the possibility of his debut film Reservoir Dogs being implemented in a stage version, he said, “could be put onstage and has been put onstage many times”.

The director previously stated, “I don’t believe you should stay onstage until people are begging you to get off. I like the idea of leaving them wanting a bit more”. Quentin’s The Hateful Eight will be released on December 25. The movie stars Samuel L Jackson, Kurt Russell and actress Jennifer Jason Leigh, along with others.
