    The veteran actor, Kenny Baker, who was last seen in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ in a character named R2-D2, has died. The actor was 81 years old when he took his last breath. He was unwell from a long time and finally collapsed on August 12, Saturday.

    The actor was just 3 feet and 8 inches tall, but his talent landed him in six ‘Star Wars’ movies. Kenny Baker’s niece, Abigail Shield, confirmed this sad news to The Guardian, “It was expected, but it’s sad nonetheless. He had a very long and fulfilled life. He brought lots of happiness to people and we’ll be celebrating the fact that he was well loved throughout the world. We’re all very proud of what he achieved in his lifetime.”

    The actor has successfully worked in the Hollywood industry for nearly 65 years. He married Eileen Baker who was his co-star in the 1977 film ‘Wombling Free’. She passed away in 1993, years before her beloved husband.
