Yes, you have heard that right! Samuel Goldwyn Films has acquired the North American rights to the Andrea Riseborough's thriller Nancy. Let's try to find more about this latest news.

According to the reports, the thriller "Nancy",  which was premiered last month at the Sundance Film Festival in U.S. Dramatic Competition, has been purchased by Samuel Goldwyn Films. Also it has been revealed that Goldwyn will give "Nancy" a traditional theatrical release later this year as per the reports. It seems to be an interesting watch.

In a Variety review at Sundance, Riseborough's performance has been praised by Amy Nicholson. She was of the view, “It’s an apt role for Riseborough, a screen chimera with the eerie ability to shape-shift between awkward teenagers and grown women. Here, she’s both at once, an immature, exhausted-looking, vague blur who might grow old and die before she figures out who she truly is.”

There are reports that “Nancy” follows a woman who becomes convinced that she was kidnapped as a child. The cast crew of the thriller includes Steve Buscemi, J. Smith-Cameron, Ann Dowd and John Leguizamo. Stay tuned for more updates.
