Rob Lowe to star in The Grinder

According to sources, Rob Lowe, who recently done filming on his NBC comedy series "Parks and Recreation," will take over to Fox to star in a new comedy The Grinder. Lowe is a five-time Golden Globe nominee.

The project is a 20th Century Fox TV production and centres on a TV lawyer named Dean Sanderson. When his series ends, he moves back to his small home town to run his family’s law firm. He is currently filming the upcoming Apocalypse Slough which will be broadcast on NBC. With Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel, the project will be executively produced by Mogel and Nicholas Stoller. Jake Kasdan, will executively produce and direct the single-camera pilot.
