Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Poster Revealed, Trailer Coming Soon

Director Gareth Edwards has revealed the official poster for his upcoming film ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’. He dropped by the sets of ‘The Star Wars Show’ yesterday where he revealed the poster and also announced that a new trailer will be released today. The movie stars Felicity Jones in the lead role.

The movie takes place before the events of ‘Star Wars: A New Hope’. The resistance fighters come up with a strategy to steal the plans for the Death Star. Felicity plays the role of Jyn Erso who is recruited by the resistance. The cast also includes Mads Mikklesen, Forest Whitaker, Donnie Yen and Riz Ahmed.

Ben Mendelsohn will be playing Director Orson Krennic, the lead antagonist. Simon Emanuel, Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Tony To will be producing the project. ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ will hit the screens on December 16 in the U.S.

Star Wars fans are ecstatic, not just about the release of Rogue One, but because there will be a Star Wars film every year till 2020. At least that’s how far the studios have planned for now.
