Sandra Bullock to act in Annie’ remake?

It is being reported that Sandra Bullock is in early discussion to join Jamie Foxx and Quvenzhane Wallis in Annie remake. The flick is an update of the classic comic strip-turned-musical that Sony is making with producers Will Smith and Jay-Z. Oscar winner actress would be seen playing Miss Hannigan, the mean lady who operates an orphanage inhabited by Annie.

Previously, Carol Burnett unforgettably played the character in the 1982 flick. Earlier, Bullock passed the when offered to her but now she is again back on the discussion table and having a talk on that. The film will be directed by Will Gluck. Sony is focusing on the film so that it could hit the floors by this spring for an expected 2014 release.
