Selena Gomez In A Hospital Prom

Selena Gomez remains ever-ready to give a helping hand when it comes to social cause. And the pop-star did the same again. Selena spent her Saturday making a guest appearance at the Children’s Hospital Orange County’s oncology prom event. Interestingly, this was her first celebrity appearance in more than a month.

She was joined by some other celebrities at the event like Sarah Drew, James Pickens Jr, Caterina Scorsone and Kevin McKidd, and Jack Black. Gomez wore a black and white polka-dot retro button-down dress and posed for photos with her fans. The theme of the prom night was “Around the world in a night”.

This is a yearly tradition which focuses on supporting teens aged 14 to 19 who are either cancer survivors or currently undergoing treatment. It aims to provide a space to celebrate their strength and journey with friends and family. Moreover, Gomez has been an avid supporter of child and health-centred nonprofits like UNICEF, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Lupus Research Alliance.
