It is also expected that the seventh episode in the epic Star Wars series will cross $ 900 million domestically and become the first film ever to do so.

It achieved the Biggest domestic preview gross title with $57 million, Biggest opening day domestically with $119.1 million, Biggest opening week domestically with $390.8 million and Fastest film to $1B globally, which was achieved in a remarkable 12 days. Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released on December 18 last year.
