Star Wars: The Force Awakens Nearing 2 Billion

The speed with which Star Wars: The Force Awakens is progressing; it might cross the 2 billion mark by tomorrow. The movie has now grossed $1.994 million across the globe. It is also expected that the seventh episode in the epic Star Wars series will cross $ 900 million domestically and become the first film ever to do so.

It achieved the Biggest domestic preview gross title with $57 million, Biggest opening day domestically with $119.1 million, Biggest opening week domestically with $390.8 million and Fastest film to $1B globally, which was achieved in a remarkable 12 days. Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released on December 18 last year.
